The keeper of the keys...

I finished my black striped shirtdress, finally. I updated the Vintage Patterns Wiki page, and put up a review at PatternReview.

Building on my thoughts there, I have to say that I don't like the collar and facing in one; I prefer ones like on the pink dress, because it's easier to get a nice silhouette. This means I've been squinting at vintage pattern envelopes, seeing if they have the characteristic seam line that I now know I prefer.

I spent a chunk of time today going through my patterns. They're now all in magazine files or (in the case of the historical patterns) in a bin, labeled. I weeded out ones to give away, and put the rest in a Google Docs spreadsheet. My hope is that this will help me actually find things.
