Concert Dress

Part of the reason I haven't posted much since, well, October, is that I've been working on an epic project.

Sadly, it's not like the triumphant part of the epic: it's like the arming scenes that get repeated over and over again.

I want to make a nice, simple black dress to wear to concerts when I sing. I have the fabric and I have the requirements. Of course, instead of getting a pattern and knocking out the dress, I decided that I should draft the bodice block and make my own pattern for the dress.

I drafted a bodice block for myself incorrectly twice. It missed its first concert.

Our next concert is in mid-March. I have a workable bodice block now, and I'm about to draft a sleeve. Here's hoping this will work.
