Bustling along

The bustle is now finished, except for putting on a hook of some kind. I've got a petticoat cut out. It's inspired by this ad, so now I'm figuring out whether or not I should actually put a yoke on it and how best to get the drawstrings to work. I'm also taking the navy blue binding off of my Regency stays and replacing it with white so that I won't have embarrassing VSL (visible stays line). My mom and the people at Wooded Hamlet teased me for not thinking about this when I got the new binding at Maryland Sheep and Wool. I'm also putting in eyelets so I won't have to pin the busk in.
