I didn't start a new project right after finishing the heinously pink dress because I needed to get some real progress in on my 1859 deadline dress. That just needs the pocket, the skirt setting, and sewing on the waistband, so I'm taking another break from it.
I ironed about four yards of periwinkle blue linen that I've been hoarding for at least three years to make the
Golden Age of Couture dress. I have large sheets of rolled paper with the pattern all ready, and am hoping to cut tomorrow. The goal for this one is nine a.m. on Sunday. There are 46 steps in the instruction pdf. Wish me luck!
