V&A dress postponed

Well, I started laying out the dress pattern. What's wrong with this picture? I have a little less than the pattern calls for, and the fabric is indeed folded in half. However, two or three of those pieces need to becut double, and there are all the bodice pieces. I think the yardage they suggest may be a bit scant. My current thought is to try Simplicity 2588 after the next pattern sale.
