Finished dress

I did end up getting the dress pattern and making it; the review is on Pattern Review here. .

Something about it in the picture really makes me think of an early 20th century gym suit or swimsuit. I've started on Butterick 5061 for a summer nightie. I'm leaving off the lace and making it in some lavender broadcloth that I got from Fabric.com on 8/30/2004. I suppose that the fabric has marinated for long enough.
